It's our last journal to share my darlings. I wonder what you've learned, other than writing, from a few months we've shared.
I myself have learned a lot from all of you; especially, weak points and side in me, and it's made me a better person...more complete...I believe. You've taught me by reflecting my younger days through you. Thank you for allowing me to learn from you; learn to be patient, to be in control, to work harder for better, and to stay positive.

Important things that I learned from Writing2 class is I mustn't late in class or absent because I have to miss many important things that important in my life.
I want to be enthusiastic person like you! I think, you have stress like other teacher but you can solve your stress because you are optimistic & enthusiastic person ;) You are my idol!!!

Aj. has more motivates to drive student to learn, thus, I cannot follow you sometime. Because of I usually clumsy, unenthusiastic, and dump.
I try to do my best; I always come to class, send my work, and work hard more than first time that I studied. It is not enough.
Aj. is very smart, enthusiastic, funny. You gave more knowledge for students as you can do, suggest everything that we should know, and work hard. The thing that you take care of your students is better.

Woo, this topic surprised me. I do have a lot to talk.
ReplyDeleteAt beginning, I did not understand why we have to work on an essay over and over, only later when I produced an essay which makes me smiled when I was reading it. I realized I meet a very good techer who really knows how to teach. You taught me one concept: NO 1 or nothing. You taught me if you do one thing, do your best to be perfect.
Yes, in our life, we should not only do quality work on writhing 2.We also need do quality work in our life too. We should dress for success and we should find a better boyfriend or girlfriend who is match with us, for me, to remain quality I’d rather to be single, suffering from loneness. I will not find a girlfriend that is not match to me. This is quality too.
Another lesson I have learned form your class is on time. I was later in your class at beginning, but one time, you said I need be on time. I had never later after that time.
Because of I thought about quality work again.
I was enjoying this course with you; actually I can enjoy any course as long as I meet a good teacher. We had been spend time in class together for 1 term. Time is short, but the influence for me is deep than any other writing class before.
For myself, I think I have to improve myself a lot on writing. But one lesson I learned for another teacher in Chins is no matter how you tried to improve your shortage, you can not win the people who be born with the talent. Therefore, I ask myself, what is my talent? This should be speaking, I can spend more time on writhing, but I had rather spending more time on speaking because I know I am going to make a living by that.

I could say that at first I knew I have to study Writing II with you.
ReplyDeleteI would like to change the section because I used to study Literature I with you; it was a difficult time for me. Anyways, I have to study with you lastly.
Now I have changed my attitude toward you. I can say honestly that you help me to improve my writing a lot. I aware the mistake of my all writing works for 2 years on the campus. I just know that “Because” can’t use as the beginning of the sentence but use “Since” instead.
I don’t like to research for information. However, this course is necessary to be skillful in searching information. Every time, you ask me to tell the topic what I am going to write. I get the huge stress because if I can’t find the appropriate topic, you will minus my score. After I have gotten my topic, I still get the tension because of the sources. Nevertheless, these situations teach me to be patient because in the reality I will face more severe problems.
Finally, I would like to say “Thank you” to you teacher.

In the class,section 3, all of us look like kids who with a toy (essay). That's funny,though.
One thing that I have learned is time is important.
I am the one who care about the time,but, it's quite hard for me to concentrate on my work in the time that teacher set.
I have to finish my paragraph within that time. Sometimes I finish it in time with the unclear idea. Even I don't like to write something in academic,but this is my class I have to do it best. :)
After the class, I try to think and create my idea in order.

ReplyDeleteI learned lots of things from you including lesson in class and experiences out class. When the writing class you taught me; I think you have well knowledge and good teaching. I swear I am not flatter in you, actually.
From the first time, I was quite prejudice to you because I have ever heard that you were so strict and serious. Now I think you are still strict but that is good point for your students. I understand you so much. It makes me more diligent and patient. I have spirit to fight with my works not only in writing class but also the other subjects. The first time, my writing is not good but I think it must be better when I finished this course of you. I believe that.

Last Class & Last Course
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I proud to see you again in this semester; although, you ever teach me in last semester (can you remember?) because I got F from you, I cannot pass in Writing2. Today, I wrote a final journal and last class& last course; it is so fast time. In the past, I have many a late night and busy weekend. I'm elated to have finished tonight the last class in the last course of my essay from your assign. When I started second essay about argument essay, I was at my dormitory, I was crazy, mad thinking to deal with its. I think it is so serious to write.I became stress peoson.
In looking back I feel I was a better student as an undergraduate. After I get the work done on time; it feels like I learned a lot more in my graduate work.
That probably is mostly due to the fact that the positive point of this course was filling in gaps between students and teacher more than the past.
Finished this last course, I learned many point about writing skills and many techniques to write a nice essay. It is a little bit complain for me, this course I use many paper, or print out. It makes me not safe money in each month, although it is not much to pay. However, I would like to thank you so much in everything in teaches me in correct writing. I'll be done the Writing2; I hope to pass, please.

ReplyDeleteAfter that I change my mind when I have learned 'writhing 2' with you. You are very good teacher I have ever met. Although you are very strict, I like to study with you because you are fun and look like a child (forgive me if I said something wrong.) In this course, I have learned how to write academic essays. It helps me a lot. It taught me to be a cautious person even though I am not. I improve my writing and reading skill when you assign our assignments. It makes me write essays better that the past. I am so pround of myself. Moreover, I will use this skill to adapt in Writing 3.

Oh! It’s an interesting topic of the last journal because I have many tales to tell and something to share with you, my teacher.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I will talk about writing II course. I think I rarely work under pressure.
Conversely, it good for me because writing course made me proofread proofread and proofread in each time to work. In the past, I’m not good at writing especially my grammar sentences. I know my weakness that it happen from I’m not pay attention to rewrite my work. Maybe nobody to motivate me like you HAHAHA. Moreover, when reach a time to write an essay, I feel bore and always think that it hard for me. Surprisingly, this course has an effective for me. I knew about how to write a good essay. Although in the first time, I have some mistake in my essay writing but also I feel enjoy with it more and more.
Next, about you my teacher, I really want to say “THANK YOU” in everything that you teach me in the class. It is useful for me and I can apply it in another writing work. Although, in my thought, you are a strict person until now but I will memorize that you made me improve my writing skill in positive way and made me fun with you along the class.
And important, you made me understand how to be a good teacher because you have your style -- I mean style for teaching, style for dressing and style for thinking. Just only one thing “freedom to write without an obstruct student ideas”. You have your style and I also have my style.
I hope I can be successful in this course that happens from my effort. I will use my writing experience from writing II to apply in writing III.

ReplyDeleteCome back to the story, at the fiirst time that I heard about studying Writing II with you, I thought that I must face with big trouble. However, I didn't change the section because it is to run away the problem. Maybe it is our destiny!!! because I'm the last ID of the section. It is extraordinary that they divided section by 46. Why wasn't it 45 or 50, right?
During our class time, studying with you was not that hard. I liked every time when you said "Close every papers, and go along with me" It was very persuasive. I think it made the atmosphere of walking together, and you'll never walk alone.
Now, personally, I almost passed two subjects from you; Literature I and Writing II (unsure). I think I 've learned how to understand you more than anyhting. Apart from the academic knowledge. I've learned how to study with you, to talk with you, and to understand your feeling when you face with tons of our broken english!!! I think I can't do like you if I were you. You brought high standard to us but it wasn't destructive, on the other hand, it was development.

There are lots of things that I’ve learned from you and classes. My bad attitudes were changed, teacher. All of negative thoughts were completely changed. I can feel you, and all of your exertion to teach us. I see your beautiful mind when you shared some snacks or candies to us. You are the first teacher who shared snacks and candies to me and my friends! Wow! I appreciate that so much, teacher. The second time with Aj. Supin in WR II course. I had study with you in Literature I. After I know that I have to learn WRII with you im very shock and scare about my grade because i got D from LiteratureI. I am the one who do not interest in writing because I always confuse with my writing and i have many problem with my grammar. I cannot do it well in first essay. So, i think that i will do it better in second essay because i choose not to drop in this subject. While i write in first essay you call me "น้องเจ้าพระยา" i really like this name :D

I see the point that you want to give the best thing that you have to all of the student. Furthermore, you also make the student fun and happy with your expression and some story that you told in the class too.

More importantly, I get the best advice which makes me improve myself to write a good writing essay. Therefore, I would like to apologize and thanks to you for every lessons from you.
I know the weakest point of me is I cannot organize my idea. It is hard to write an exquisite essay Sometimes, I feel so tired that I don’t want to do anything, but I have to keep walking and learning from my own mistakes. Even if this course is quite difficult for me, I still try to do it as much as I can for passing to study “writing III” course. I think it is the best way for me now.

ReplyDeleteTo frankly speak, at first, I very shocked to know that my next writing teacher would be Aj. Supin T-T. At that time, I was in the USA and thought back to my literature grade that I had just gotten from her last semester. I felt like the sky in Florida became darker and darker because of my C+ from that class. I really scared to take the writing II course with her.
My teacher, I don't mean that you're not good, but all of the problem is me. I scare to face with the truth when you grade me. I really scare.
However, from writing class, I've learned many things from you. Apart from the intensive writing knowledge, I've learned that my life is not easy. In order to get such a worthy point from you, I need to put all of my effort and my attention on my works. It's the very good lesson for my life in the future because I believe that nothing's easy to get like what I've been facing in this course.
Moreover, I've learned that being such a very good teacher like you is very difficult. You teach all of your students with heart, the heart and soul of teacher. That's what I feel every time when I meet you.

ReplyDeleteAll of one semester that I learn writing II with Aj. Supin. I think this a good time for me to improve my weakness writing skill. I think everyone can write the passages but that passage is good or bad. For me at the moment I think my essay is not good enough. I saw many works of friends and compare it with my work. I found many mistake in my essay such as spelling, grammar, ran on sentences, and etc. I try to find the answer that Why I cannot do my essay to the best? I look around and I found that if I want to write the essay or passage to the best.

Second, I have to talk with the person who has more experience in English and share the problems of writing. For example, I went to meet Aj. Supin and consult her about my Argumentative essay. Aj. Supin gave me the good idea. She helps me think step by step. When I finish my consultation. I found that “I need to improve my logical thinking right now!”
Third, I have to review my grammatical and review my vocabularies spelling.
Finally, I have to practices writing in everyday for better than moment.

From my experience, writing is the boring course. I do not like it. But my thought begin to change after you teach me. Although writing II is very difficult, I like it. ^^
I accept that I am so tried and discouraged from study this course. But when I think about your works, I have known that my work is very small if I compare with you.

For my first class,
I sat on the back of classroom and cannot look straight into your eyes.

However, I’ve changed my mind when I opened my heart to listen.

I think my teacher is a good attempting; she devotes to teach and wants her students to get as much as knowledge.

You're a funny teacher when teaching and become serious teacher when grading. it's make me know about the time when should I will stay cool and when should I need to serious. Moreover, you teach me to be serious about a mistake. You're always serious about a small mistakes which other people can't see its. It's make my writing skill improve a lot. I remembered that when I was in the second year, My grammar skill is very bad. Moreover, my work's overview isn't good and I can't solve this problem. However, now a day, I can correct other works to improve a quality of their work. Last four mouths, when I was living at Taiwan, Winai helped me to register. When I called him back, the extreme dialogue that made me be serious was I have to learn “writing two” with Aj. Supin. I thought I might not pass this course for sure. The reasons that made me thought that were firstly, every person told me that Aj. Supin is very strict about teaching, especially writing and grammar. Secondly, since I have studied English major in this university, I have never gotten the compliment about writing from any teachers. Moreover, I have to learn English for secretary with you. I might fail 2 courses in the first semester.
ReplyDeleteWhen the first day of semester began, I was very afraid of Aj. Supin. However, she was very kind and lovely. I thought I love her voice so much. Her action was not like the dialogue that I had heard before. Once day, she told our class to begin to write the cause and effect essay. At that time, I thought that death begins to my life. That was the reason I usually went to her office to ask a lot of essay problems. Finally, the first draft was finished, I got the good score, when I compared with my friends. I came back my dormitory, I began to think that why I could get the good score. The good answer showed that I have a excellent teacher. She taught me to write a perfect essay, step by step. Moreover, she told me that the good writing did not mean I had to use the difficult word, but I had to have the good brain storming and organization in writing.
Finally, even though the cause is already closed, I am still impressed about you, Aj. Supin. I really love your teaching style. When you knew the students problems in first essay, I saw that you try to find others technique to teach students to get more understanding. About writing course, I learned how to write essay and argumentative essay; they are very difficult. ReplyDeleteI remember I met you first time at E-1 canteen on last year. That time, you had curry hair like Korean hair style, your face was also looked like the Korean woman, and I was crazy K-pop at that time, so your look struck my eyes, and I thought you were nice-looking. When literature class arrived, I really surprised that the Korean hair style woman that I met at noon became my teacher. However, I never thought before that this Korean hair style woman would gave F grade for me ha-ha~. Since F grade went to my life, everything seems to be changed. From the lazy girl who had arrogance, I thought I can pass everything even F, but you made me change my mind. You made me realize that I can fell every time with out effort. After that, I increase my attention to study and works. I would like to show my parent that F is not everything of my life, like you have said.
On writing course, writing skill always the problem with me. Many people around me often tell me that they quite confuse with my writing, this cause really makes me tried. First time, I think all of my writing mistakes might be come from God; he didn’t give this talent to me or I wasn’t born to be. However, since I met you, you though me to know that I can do it, you shown the heart of writing to me, despite it seems lately for me because I approached to you in second essay while my first essay score was worse, my score seem a patient on coma who helpless to cure. ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I would like to say "Thank You" for teaching us in writing II, being very patient, and being such a good teacher. I must admit that I also learn a lot from you. I actually realize that, sometimes, I think without any reasons, or I say something very confusing which I cannot explain to a listener so he/she can understand what I really mean. This occured to me when I tried to write the essay body parts.
ReplyDeleteI get stuck with what inside my head a lot sometimes. I cannot express them correctly in the way that I want. Therefore, I need to sit, think, and rearrange my idea in my head before I speak or talk to someone. So, that is one of the things I have learn. Even though I am still confused about what I want to say, I am working on that.
The next thing that I have learned during the time we've been together is first thing first and planing ahead is always important. Especially, when there are more than one thing for you to do. I almost could not finish my works that I was responsible for. It is very easy for you to feel as if you do not want to do anything when you have a lot in your mind and youa re just too tired.
I can tell you that you are not like what I expected. From what my friends told me about you, I was kind of worried that I could get F and I did not want to study with you. I could have chosen to changed my section and studied with other Ajarns, but I thought why not study with you. This is a good chance to get to know you.
So here I am, one of your students who is so greatful that she did not make a decision to study with someone else.

What I would like to say is that I have never studied with any teacher like you. Another word is you're COOLEST teacher I have met. In writing II, I've learned how extremely bad my writing is. Honestly, I felt down and did not even wanted to wake up and attend the classes for a period of time. But you know what, after I talked to you that day that I cried in front of you (can't believe I did that, embarrassed ><"), I calm down and let myself on.

If I were you, I may faint with those pieces of essay. [I cannot read academic writing worksheet longer than a half an hour (if the worksheet is novel or comic series, I can read it two days and non-stop)]. I really do not understand about delicate of punctuation and grammatical. At first draft of my writing, you made me realize that I should not use preposition after the main verb because that sentence will become clause. And the more that I have got from this subject is the team working; I love the peering made us, me and my friend, know and love each other more. In the peering last date, my friend who is my partner helped me in my essay until last minute of submitting. I really love to thank to this class that let me know the good person and partner like her.
