LET US FLY

Flying means many things. It can be just an action of traveling to a destination. It can also be a way of getting away mentally from where I am physically. In this latter meaning, I fly...as often as every week. Of course, it's not on a giant metal vehicle called an airplane that I go. I wing myself with songs or music.

What else can make you fly? How does it/they make you fly?

PRESSURE

I felt relieved after knowing my test result late in the morning. Relieved because there are things to do but I couldn't concentrate and, thus, move on because my mind was trapped with all the worries with the test. While got stuck, I could feel the pressure and inability of doing anything about it.

However, there are times when I work effectively task by task because the deadline is just an inch away. It means pressure is my drive, otherwise I would procrastinate. The latter is normal of me as I usually drop here and there until I realize the air for me to breathe is thin.

Not good thing I know so I like you to share how you look at it. How well do/can you work under pressure? What do you think, apart from time rushing in, are the things that can put you under pressure?

PROXIMITY

It happened today that I suddenly felt the persons I was talking to, in two different scenes, were physically too close to me. What's interesting is that the persons didn't appear to feel the same as I did. I stepped back a bit, trying to make it in a natural movement, and for one of them I glided a few times as I still felt too close to the person.

Lately, I've been aware of proximity between me and the person (s) with whom I'm conversing. I wonder why my conversation partner don't feel the same for sometimes they move closer to me when I try to distance a bit.

Have you ever had this kind of feeling? For you, how important is proximity? What do you think are the factors for one to feel it?
